In 1994, Geocities was the first social media site ever created. Since then the idea behind online social networking has exploded and evolved into such companies as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and now FindingDavid. So what sets FindingDavid apart from prominent social medias and more importantly what sets FindingDavid apart from other religious social medias such as Faithbook?
We truly believe in the brotherhood mentality: we find common ground as brothers in Christ and, as such, should build each other up. Our vision is that hundreds, even thousands, of like-minded young Christian men come together online for the purpose of encouragement, edification, accountability, and to serve the world around us for the glory of God.
With most social networking sites, friendships are shallow, meetings are few, and time is wasted. We want the FindingDavid experience to be totally different. Our goal is for FindingDavid members to personally know one another: each other’s flaws and strengths, goals and struggles.
